Error message
In the message, %s marks a value that the engine fills in when it raises the error.
The story
You tried to write something and the engine could not create the being that the write needs. Let me explain what a being is. It is an identity made from randomness, plus six dimensions. One dimension is the timestamp, read from the canonical clock. Another is the node, taken from this machine's machine id. If the engine cannot get randomness, cannot read the clock, or cannot find the machine id, then it cannot finish the being. And a being missing a dimension is not a smaller being, it is not a being at all. So why refuse? Because history here never loses a row. If the engine stored a half-born being, it would stay in that name's history forever, and every future read would be answering from something that was never complete. Imagine a legal document with the date torn off: better not to sign it. The message adds the detail of what failed. It can come from the heap, when a cell's being cannot be born, or from the accretion store, when the clock cannot be read. Check the machine: entropy source, clock, and machine id. Once they are available, the write goes through.
